Twitter makes welcome improvements to its direct messages

The social network has announced several changes to its direct messages that will be released on the platform in the coming weeks. Twitter shared the news on its official account and, among the changes, is the possibility of sending a tweet by direct message to twenty different conversations. Other changes include improvements to fast ‘ scrolling ‘, a new action for the add reaction section, and message grouping. These new options or improvements are starting to be available in iOS and some of them will be available to Android users soon.
Until now, if you wanted to share a direct message with several users on Twitter, the only way to do it was to create a group and send the message to that group, so that everyone could see the responses of the rest of the group members, of course. Now, on the other hand, one can choose up to twenty contacts and send a direct message to each of them individually, so that it is possible to have as many private conversations from the same starting content. For now, this new functionality, which is the most attractive, is already available for iOS while Android users will have to wait a little longer.
Although it is the most useful, a priori, this is not the only novelty that direct messages will bring to Android and iOS users. Another of the most welcome is the fast ‘ scroll ‘ button that will allow you to quickly see the last message. In addition, Twitter has also implemented a menu that gives the option to add reactions when choosing from a collection of reactions for a particular message. For now, yes, this last option can only be used by those who connect with iOS.
Finally, the platform has announced that it will group messages by date, so it should be easier to navigate a conversation. Like the previous one, at its premiere it will only be available on iOS. In any case, these developments will be incorporated into the social network in the coming weeks, so Twitter enthusiasts will have to exercise their patience.
The new features, by the way, join the improvements announced a few weeks ago about giving users the ability to choose who sees their tweets and who they want to read them from. If you want further information, you can do so at this link.
