Leonardos Club holds regular sessions to reflect on topical areas such as business, humanism, digitization or design and present tangible proposals for change, just as they did in past sessions in which they addressed topics such as mediocrity, chronopathy , business psychopathy or tendencies when it comes to socializing. At the last event, after a very complicated year and a half economically and socially, attendees raised “real business opportunities for 2022” and discussed the changes in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain.
Elena Alfaro, founder of Leonardos Club and FANScinology , stated at the beginning that “our purpose is to contribute to a better world, through the generation of responses obtained through the objective method and this time we intend to focus on real ideas so that any entrepreneur can detect a business opportunity and pursue it.
In this sense, José Manuel Ramos, CEO of Hub7S, in charge of introducing the topic, pointed out that “this is about business intelligence, we must be attentive to the data that reflects what is moving in the world and from there see what I can do to add value”.
In this way, a series of segments were highlighted that have been reinforced after the pandemic and that can represent real business opportunities for an entrepreneur:
- 1. Emotional health, especially everything related to coaching and personal transformation.
- 2. Sustainability, in what has to do with circular economy, recycling and ecological products.
- 3. Technology, in areas such as digitization, usability, cybersecurity, ecommerce and 3D printing in the medical world or in construction.
- 4. Logistics, in everything that has to do with packaging and delivery , especially in the last mile.
- 5. Energy and everything related to the areas of generation, distribution and mobility.
- 6. Age sections. In the silver generation there are many opportunities related to employability, usability, leisure or mobility. Also in other sections where there are urgent and real needs, as is the case of ‘adults only’ or adolescents, whose situation has intensified due to the pandemic.
Margarita Alcaide, founder of Scrinia , highlighted that there is another opportunity around the world of pets: “40% of Spanish households have animals in their homes and an important regulatory change is being prepared, so the occasion may lie in anticipating and playing with logistics, technology, health or leisure”.
