Bitget Wallet Rebrands with Mission to Make Crypto Accessible to Everyone

Bitget Wallet has unveiled a complete brand makeover, transforming from a specialized crypto tool into an everyday financial app designed for the general public. The company, which now serves over 80 million users worldwide, is backing this rebrand with a $1 million campaign to promote its “Crypto for Everyone” movement.

The wallet has expanded well beyond its original purpose of simply storing cryptocurrency. Users can now trade across 130 different blockchain networks, earn passive income on their holdings, make everyday purchases, and discover new investment opportunities—all from a single app.

“The role of wallets is evolving—it’s moving from a niche tool to one with real-world utility for everyday needs,” explained Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet. “We’re building towards a future where interacting with crypto feels as easy as using Uber or PayPal.

Bitget Wallet has seen explosive growth in regions where traditional banking services are limited or unreliable. User numbers increased by 300% overall in the past year, with the most dramatic growth in Africa (959%), Europe (367%), and the Middle East (350%).

This surge reflects how people are increasingly turning to cryptocurrency solutions to deal with inflation, limited banking access, and economic instability in their home countries.

Making crypto more user-friendly

The redesigned app features a simplified interface and will soon offer a “Simple Mode” for newcomers to cryptocurrency. It also includes built-in safety features like real-time risk monitoring and transaction screening to help users avoid scams.

One of Bitget Wallet’s standout features is its payment capabilities. Users can make purchases at over 300 brands including Amazon, Google Play, and Shopee using crypto cards, QR code payments, or direct purchases—making it one of the most versatile crypto wallets for everyday spending.

As part of its expansion, Bitget Wallet plans to support tokenized real-world assets like stocks and gold, further blurring the line between traditional and digital finance.
