According to the results of the survey ‘Current state of the digitization of small Spanish businesses and freelancers – 2021: Marketing Observatory’, carried out by GoDaddy, 55% of small Spanish businesses already carry out online marketing actions and 14% already have planned to implement them during 2021.
The world of marketing has changed because current circumstances demand it, given that the best-known traditional techniques are no longer as effective as they were a few years ago, and the appearance of new online tools forces us to be attentive and respond to changes in behavior of the consumer. GoDaddy, through one of its School of Digital classes, has summarized the different methods that currently exist in the marketing universe and that can be effective in increasing the growth of small Spanish businesses.
Content marketing
This is one of the most important and the one that will bring the most benefits to entrepreneurs in the long term. It encompasses all the content that is displayed on the business’s own website with the aim that users get to know a brand in depth in their own words, they can see if its offer lives up to their expectations and trust enough to test and make a purchase of your products or services.
Inboundmarketing
Also known as attraction marketing, it is a technique that attracts potential customers with useful, relevant and valuable content. This strategy captures users non-intrusively and draws their attention in a subtle and non-invasive way, using different channels such as social networks, blogs or SEO techniques, among others.
Marketing Using social
media marketing, like Instagram or Facebook, correctly can help you gain more customers in a significant way. According to the results of the survey conducted by GoDaddy, 16% of small businesses surveyed advertise through social networks. Carrying out marketing actions on these networks is not complicated, but planning and perseverance are necessary to achieve the objectives.
Mail marketing
Although it can sometimes seem that sending emails from a brand can be annoying for customers, directing these emails has a purpose that is nothing close to that of systematic spam, in fact, 27% of the small businesses in Spain are using email marketing activities. This type of marketing requires a very low investment and is an immediate tool with which to make personalized offers that allows you to measure the impact that the campaign has had immediately.
