CrossFi, a digital payment platform focused on bridging decentralized finance (DeFi) and traditional finance (TradFi), has announced a major achievement: its core technologies are now officially patented in 181 countries. Alongside these patents, CrossFi has secured 70-year design registrations for its user interfaces, giving the company a strong competitive edge in the fast-evolving web3 fintech sector.

The newly granted patents cover CrossFi’s foundational technologies, including its main banking app, the infrastructure that connects DeFi and TradFi systems, the blockchain-based FastPayments system, the decentralized exchange protocol MPX (Multi-Purpose Exchange), and the xAssets platform for tokenizing real-world and synthetic assets. These protections ensure that CrossFi’s innovations are safeguarded from unauthorized use or imitation in major markets around the world.

Alexander Mamasidikov, CEO and founder of CrossFi, described the milestone as a defining moment for the company. “Each patent has been granted with a 70-year protection period, providing us with robust legal protection and affirming the uniqueness of our innovations; there are no comparable technologies in existence today. It is the result of years of focused effort and determination,” he said. Mamasidikov also noted that this achievement sets the stage for a future IPO and further growth.

The 70-year design registrations cover CrossFi’s user interface designs, including its website, mobile app, console dashboard, and blockchain scan tools. This long-term protection helps secure the brand’s distinctive look and feel, ensuring a consistent user experience for years to come. In addition, CrossFi has registered multiple trademarks, such as Cross Finance, CrossFi, CrossFi Chain, XFI, XFI Scan, XFI Console, MPX, CrossFi xAssets, and CrossFi xAPP, to maintain exclusive rights to its brand across all markets.

CrossFi has already onboarded over a million users and launched its own Layer-1, EVM-compatible mainnet last year. The platform aims to support purchases at more than 100 million merchants worldwide, offering a scalable payment network that combines the security and transparency of blockchain with the reliability and user experience of traditional finance.

With these global patents and design protections, CrossFi is well-positioned to lead the next generation of digital payments, providing users with secure, transparent, and inclusive financial solutions.
